Our History
Although Farafra Scent is a new house, born in 2024, it holds this deep history in its
heart — a history rooted in the Nile Valley and Egypt's uniquely diverse desert.
Our story begins in the Farafra Oasis, a single village known as the most isolated in the New Valley. Famous for its strong traditions and customs, the oldest part of the village rests on a hillside, surrounded by palm groves, hot sulfur springs, and an abundance of olive trees. It is also home to the world-renowned White Desert, a national protectorate since 2002.
For a long time, the journey to Farafra was a challenge. Today, a modern road network connects the oasis to the world. Farafra Scent was born to be that same connection—an aromatic bridge between the city's vibrant rhythm and the oasis's profound tranquility. We offer a collection that blends a timeless, classic character appreciated by connoisseurs, with a modern, fresh appeal loved by contemporary youth.
